Overcliff Road, Brockley

Overcliff Road involved a full renovation of the existing house, including a lower ground floor extension and loft conversion.

The lower ground floor has been designed to maximise its connection to the garden. Slimline framed glazing enhances transparency, while reclaimed brickwork and polished concrete floors introduce texture and a sleek, contemporary finish.

A stripped-back material palette defines the interior, with warmth brought in through internal oak cladding and douglas fir flooring, creating a balanced and cohesive aesthetic.

At loft level, the design capitalises on panoramic views across London. Clayworks plaster cocoons the space, adding softness, depth and a tactile quality that contrasts subtly with the cleaner architectural elements below.
